About Tariff of USA

About Tariff of USA

from the bottom of heart, we human kinds want all trade are free. however, the politics makes the tariff.

new Tariff policy of USA

the time stamp is April 18th, 2025.

now we have heard the following coming tariff for small packages (value under $800 deminimis), will affect our shipment from China to USA.

from May 2nd, each package will be charged 120% of goods value or $100 per package, depends which value is high the gov will take the high tariff.

from Jun 2nd, each pacakge will be charged 120% of goods value or $200 per pacakge, depends which value is high the gov will take the high tariff.

so which means, if clients buy $300 kippah from our company, you will need to pay at least $100 for traiff. (we will lower the invoice value to $50 per shipment, mostly it will be workable, if not work they will charge $360 tariff, which is rob of course).

so clients from USA, please make sure you have well noted the newest tariff policy of USA,  you will be robed by your government for heavy duties.

Methology

here are some methods our company or you(clients from USA) may take to avoid this new situation:

1, change desitnation country.

if you have Canada relatives that will help, we first ship to Canada, the local traiff is $20-50 per small pacakge. and for kippah, if you can insist, it is actually tax free products, because it is a sort of religious products.

if you are going to marry in Israel, that is good, you will only need to pay about $20-50 for tariff in Israel.

2, we will use transhipment from another country,

first we will ship to a forwarder like in Europe Canada, and then change the shipping bill and ship to your final address.

this will take a bit longer time like 2-3 days.

so plan your events in advance, like 2 or 3 months before the evends, mitzvah, wedding, etc.

3, wait and see.

Trump gov changes their mind so frequntly, they paused this kinds of policy from Feb till April.

we will keep our price and quality and service steady to survive.
